For many years PM Solutions Australia, and its project consultants, have been deeply involved with Project Managers and their Project Teams in a vast array of project types, in both the government and private sectors. One of the most common questions our consultants and company have been asked, is and remains, “how to get started in project management?” or equally “how do I get to the next level of project management?”
We have found that many talented and dedicated people give up their aspirations for project management, due to all the initial hurdles of gaining knowledge and experience. This was also true of our own project professional early in their careers, and they, like you, struggled for years trying to figure things out, and made plenty of mistakes in the process.
Now there is a resource available to you now that we never had!

How was it developed?
The PM Learning content and concept was developed by Josh Nankivel, CEO of pmStudent. In conjunction with PM Solutions Australia the original e- Learning concept was further developed to cater for Australasian project professionals.
Josh Nankivel has been helping new and aspiring project managers succeed for many years. He has over ten years of “real life - hands on” project management experience, coupled with a Bachelor of Science degree in Project Management, and is PMP certified by the Project Management Institute. Josh has successfully delivered projects for Fortune 500® companies and some of the world's leading organisations including SAIC, Citigroup and Gateway, in the fields of aviation, aerospace, science, engineering, finance, telecommunications and information technology. Josh is also a member of PMI and has lead Special Interest Groups (SIGs) on project management disciplines, as well as working with a leading training organisation in Silicon Valley, USA. How is PM Learning different?
Unlike many expensive, time consuming and non-practical training courses for project management and related disciplines, the PM Learning is a private on-line community where like-minded people help each other out. These educational are presented asa mentoring session, with lots of stories to illustrate the points and talking about them like “real people” do. You do not get spoken down to and there is no fear of being “scorned upon”, "apperaing foolish" or “time constraints” for asking questions at any time. Ask as many as you like, when you like!
